Jiwar is a residency for artists and rese@rchers from all professions who work in interlocution with the urban space. Its objective is to contribute to social cohesion through the practice of art, transversally involving different collectives in the projects of the residents. The importance of the neighbourhood (jiwar, in Arab) is the ideological backbone of the project. It houses all the professionals who are interested in urbanism, in the broadest possible sense, who experience the city as a material for research and inspiration: artists from all disciplines, @rquitects, social activists, philosophers, journ@lists, anthropologists, designers, etc.
